Energy Real Estate Solutions (ERES) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy applies to our websites, including RENTCafe and any other website or mobile app that links to this Policy (collectively, our “Service”). Please read this policy carefully to understand how your personal information is collected, used and disclosed by ERES. By accessing our website you agree and consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE?

Information we collect directly from our about you. We collect personal information, such as your name, address, phone number, location, and email address when you sign up for our mailing list, provide a comment or ask us a question, schedule a property tour, or otherwise communicate with us. We may collect additional information if you fill out an apartment application. We may also collect any communications between you and ERES and any other information you provide to ERES.

We may also receive information about you from our third party partners, for example, if you inquire about our properties, submit an application, create a resident account, or make a payment through a third party partner that hosts our various properties sites, such as Yardi-RENTCafe.

We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service, as well as to respond to your requests, send you Service-related notices, and marketing communications.

In general, you may browse the website without providing personal information. However, if you choose not to provide certain information, we may not be able to provide certain services or process certain requests.

We and our third party partners use tracking technologies, including cookies, web beacons, embedded scripts, location-identifying technologies, file information, and similar technology, to automatically collect usage and device information, including information about your device and its software (such as IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, device type/model/manufacturer, operating system, date and time stamp, and a unique device ID); information about the way you access and use our Service (referral and exit information, the pages visit or links you click, whether you open emails or click the links contained in emails, whether you access the Service from multiple devices); information about your location (including GPS or we may infer your location based on IP address or other information). We may also work with third party partners to employ technologies, including the application of statistical modeling tools that permit us to recognize and contact you across multiple devices. We may collect analytics data or use third party analytics tools such as Google Analytics to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Sites and to understand more about the demographics of our users. Although we do our best to honor the privacy preferences of our users, we are currently unable to respond to Do Not Track signals set by your browser.

ERES maintains a comprehensive information security program designed to preserve the security and confidentiality of customer information, protect against threats or hazards to the security of such information, and prevent unauthorized access. This security program consists of procedures and specifications for administrative, technical, physical and organizational safeguards. These safeguards include: programs to detect, prevent and respond to unauthorized access; employee training programs and restricting access to information on a need-to-know basis; and security procedures relating to the storage and disposal of information. However, we cannot and do not guarantee that unauthorized, inadvertent disclosure will never occur. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and, where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations

We make every effort to promptly process all unsubscribe requests.
